MTI has become one of the premier “mail haulers” in the USA. We are currently the 4th largest over the road mail hauler in the country. This has been made possible by the dedication and hard work of the many drivers, mechanics, office personnel as well as outstanding field managers. People make things happen! Thru dedication and sound business practices we have upgraded our fleet! Most recently we secured 80 new Great Dane 53’ trailers to allow us to begin replacing trailers but also giving us the opportunity to refurbish others. In addition while we are refurbishing trailers we are repainting them to create a better image over the road.

While the mail business remains very, very competitive we are making strides in updating equipment, employee pay as well as equipment to work with. To remain viable in the competitive mail hauling business we will need to continue to become more efficient and a lower cost producer. The USPS expects it and our competitors are accomplishing those goals as well. I remain confident MTI has the quality of people that can continue our success in this difficult environment!
Our new “home office” is working out well and the “welcome mat” remains out for anyone that passes thru SE Illinois. In the meantime look for one of our 450 tractors with the MTI wind faring moving around the highways and view our quality drivers!
